One of the things that we love most about our Afterschoolers is their incredible imaginations. Brianne recently overheard the kids talking about griffins, and one of the girls piped up saying, “I saw a griffin once. In Florida. At MIDNIGHT.”
When the kids asked what one looked like, Brianne decided to Google images of griffins to show them. They each wanted a picture of one to color, and then everyone made shields to go with them. This project turned also turned into a discussion of family crests!
