Arts and crafts have the power to brighten anyone’s day, and even more so when they are given as a gift. This week’s Community Kindness campers have been making crafts to donate to local service workers including Pet Vets, the Oak Park Fire Department, the Conservatory, Buzz Cafe, Musik Garten and UCP Seguin. We’ve made bookmarks, pins, necklaces, god’s eyes, and so many more things.
The lessons that we learned this week are important ones. Give back to the community, share with your neighbors, make creative exchanges and be kind to the Earth.
