December 1, 2013 • Passport To Preschool

We all remember the science experiments we learned as kids, and this week at Passport 2 Preschool, our students were introduced to the classics as well as some new ones.

Static electricity was explored by creating friction between balloons and our heads to make our hair stand on end, and we tilted a folding table at an angle to experience how gravity will pull toy cars down its surface. At the water table, the Preschoolers learned which objects float and which sink, while at the lightbox, we used brushes and sand to take a closer look at opacity and translucency.

And one of the most compelling experiments proved to be the dramatic transformation of turning Borax into colorful goop!
