Recently, we have spent a lot of time at the Studio mapping the stars. Studying constellations, we got to know our way around the night sky, but it made us wonder, where in the world are we?
We did not need to wonder for long, as Ms Betty came to our rescue to help us answer all our questions.
We kicked off the week discovering such useful things as an atlas, a book of maps and a globe – we located ourselves on all three, and got to grips with North, South, East and West.
We like to get down to the nitty-gritty here at Magical Minds Studio, and we love to absorb the information that we can use day to day. So we didn’t waste any time in learning the practical stuff, such as our way around Oak Park, and the essentials, such as writing our addresses on an envelope.
We mastered our left and right and following directions and used these in a wonderful treasure hunt… with real treasure!
In addition to all of the exciting stuff, we somehow found time for fraction puzzles, magnet games, sorting and practicing writing. In order to make all of this happen, Ms Betty needed the finest helpers the world has to offer; she found just that in Jackson, Samantha, Nicky and Loie – thank you all!
