Nature surprises and impresses us all the time! In Passport 2 Preschool we continued our work with patterns, finding them in nature, as well as learning about some of the more extreme creatures that we share the world with. We made water bears, the .5 millimeter creatures that live in so many environments. We learned that tarantulas can live as long as 25 years and that the tarantella dance is named after them! Throughout the week we played a game inspired by the Haida people in Alaska, finding specific patterns on sticks.
