SUMMARY:K-6th grade Summer Camp- Food & Culture
DESCRIPTION:What better way to understand cultures than through the flavors of their food! Our Studio will be transformed each day with a different country’s themed restaurant. We’ll make a known craft\, sing a known song and end with a taste of that culture. Food will be provided by local restaurants in Oak Park and campers will serve the food as acting waitstaff.\n \nFor campers staying past noon we’ll have a lunch break and then dive into choice-based activities which include fine arts\, games and outside play.\n\nCampers should wear clothes that can get dirty and comfortable shoes.
