DESCRIPTION:Legos are not only fun but are proven to expand the mind with problem solving\, the use of spatial skills and creatively experiment with building. Each day students will be given a challenge (age appropriate) to complete. Once completed we will photograph it and at the end of camp provide each student with a collage of their creations. In addition to building\, students will use art supplies to create Lego characters of their own. \nCampers should wear clothes that can get dirty and comfortable shoes. DESCRIPTION:Come spend time outdoors exploring and getting to know more about our local forest preserves. This outdoor camp will focus on building awareness skills\, making connections to the natural world\, and developing an understanding of relationships and interdependence of systems and communities. This camp will provide an overview of wilderness safety\, animal tracking\, plant and tree identification\, cooking simple outdoor meals\, mindfulness activities and games. Participants will learn skills and practices they can incorporate into their daily lives. The camp will conclude with a stewardship workday clearing invasive species from a section of forest at Bemis Woods. \nPlease have your child wear appropriate outdoor clothing\, a cap and sunscreen.  Please send a water bottle and lunch. \n\nFull week sign up:\n9am-1pm\, $270
