Once you have signed up\, we will email you the meeting information and password.** \nLet’s get into some drawing basics this May with Mr. Sam from MM Studio! He’ll cover basic contour and shape\, shading technique\, color\, gesture\, and then\, to cap it all off\, people and portraiture! \nThis five week course is great for children grades 3-6. Each session meets once a week for 40 minutes\, and there will be (VERY LIGHT) homework between sessions. Easy breezy\, but lots of fun\, and tons of learning! \nSkills we’ll develop include: \n\nContour drawing\nShading\nColor\nHow to draw a person\nSelf-portraiture\n\nMaterials you’ll need (not supplied by Magical Minds): \n\nPencils\nColored pencils\nPencil sharpener\nErasers\nTissue\nSketchbook or plain paper\nSharpie marker or black crayola\n\nDates\, times and price: \n\nMondays\, May 4-June 1\, 10-10:40am\, or\n$35 for all 5 sessions

We will go from making our own loom to ‘dressing’ (preparing) it\, weaving\, taking our piece off the loom and hanging it! \nSkills you’ll learn include: \n\nMaking a loom\nWeaving\nDecorating woven art\n\nMaterials needed (not supplied by Magical Minds): \n\n10” by 12” cardboard piece plus two strips for top and bottom\nExacto knife or scissors\nRuler\nYarn (different colors/sizes/textures are ok and welcome!)\nPlastic needle\nMasking tape/Scotch tape\nTwigs or popsicle sticks\nPencil\n\nDates\, times and price: \n\nMondays\, May 4-June 1\, 12-12:30pm\n$32 for all 5 sessions
