‘F’ is for ‘Fish’

March 21, 2012 • Passport To Preschool

On the heels of last week’s project on the letter ‘E’ is this week’s ‘F’ is for ‘Fish!’

The preschoolers worked hard on their collages this week, learning all about the letter ‘F.’ In one project, the students got to choose pictures cut from magazines that illustrated an object starting with the letter ‘F.’ As you can see in the photo below, the kids found images like fingers, fire, and feathers to glue onto pages to take home.

They also worked on these colorful fish collages, using a blue construction paper fish as a base, on which the little ones glued googly-eyes and “scales” of recycled paper half-circles. We affixed the blue fish onto a bright red-orange base for contrast!
