‘N’ is for ‘Nests’

June 6, 2012 • Passport To Preschool

Making nests is always a hit with the little ones, as they get to combine a number of fun, new materials. And nests were the perfect project as we moved on to the letter ‘N’ in our journey through the alphabet.

Throughout the years, we’ve made nests with all kinds of materials –paper, wood, sticks, leaves, and dried grasses– but for our preschoolers, we chose to use some recycled materials. Using egg cartons and shredded paper, our students came up with colorful and cozy nests for the little eggs we decorated with markers.
