We started last week by talking about Martin Luther King and, inspired, we talked about our own dreams. We have two kinds of dreams, the kind which happens during the day, where we dream (like MLK) of a better world, and the one during the night that happens when we sleep where we dream of… well, all sorts of things!
This week we thought about both.
We made a dream book and recorded our dreams with pictures and words. We did some dreamy dancing, and dreamt about what we will do when we grow up. We imagined ourselves going to work, and we created small figures wearing work clothes, and we sang Hi ho, hi ho, its off to work we go! and marched around the studio, as working people tend to do.
Dream begins with a D, which was our letter of the week, and our number investigations continued with stacking blocks in terrific tens and counting copious corn.
