Paper Planet

April 29, 2015 • After School Workshop

Last week saw us celebrating Earth Day by sculpting its portrait!

(Using recycled materials, naturally)

You have seen how skilled we are when it comes to paper mache; we like nothing better than rolling our sleeves up and getting our hands dirty with some paste and a pile of newspapers. This process is especially enjoyable when it involves chasing a large, slippery balloon about.

And if it takes skill to make the globe itself, it takes another level of intelligence entirely to paint oceans and continents onto said sphere… take a look at the finished results in our studio window – they are beautiful if not 100% accurate!

Have we been forgetting the LOG OF GLORY recently? It can only be because we have such an abundance of talent in the studio it can be too challenging too choose only one person… HOWEVER the log is back with a splash – thank you ZOE for being last week’s number 1!
