Expressionism and Our Grand Re-Opening

November 3, 2017 • After School Workshop

Expressionism is subjective representation. It can convey emotion, it can be abstract and it isn’t restricted to particular media.

So many of the famous artists of the 20th century worked in different expressionist techniques- Munch, Kandinsky and Pollock, to name a few. This week our students have been tapping into expressionist methods and collaborating on works that show feeling.

This week, we’ve also been coming down from the high that was our Grand Re-Opening party! Animals for Awareness was a real highlight!
