We use words every day, whether speaking, reading or writing. Words tell us to stop at the intersection, they form the strings of dialogue that make up Hamlet and they’re what you’re reading right now.
This week the kids made art with words in so many forms! They started by reading works by other people, and from there began creating their own works of art with words.
They pulled words from a jar to make Dada poems, story boarded scripts and slayed their audience in a performance of Abbot and Costello’s Who’s On First!
Much of this effort was inspired by the first edition of our student-led publication, The Magical Minds Times!
