Joan Miro was the artist inspiring this week’s works. He helped look differently at lines, shapes and composition.
Miro worked by “free-drawing” and creating layered compositions. It was a great opportunity for the kids to let their tools guide them, and not concentrate of the forms they were making.
Another highlight of our artwork this week, was that so many of the projects were collaborations. Students worked in pairs and groups so that their works reflected more than one personality.
