This week our students were exposed to classical art, Neoclassical to be exact. They journeyed back to the 17th and 18th centuries to explore this Fine Art movement and how it came to be well known today.
Our teachers felt the best way to explain this art style would be to show them decorative objects, garments and buildings. Students were inspired to draw grand architectural columns and characters that depicted this classical movement.
