After School Workshop learned all about monarch butterflies this week, as they are part of the Day of the Dead celebrations. The migrating butterflies are treated as symbols of the spirits of loved ones returning. And because we’re getting into the Halloween spirit, at the end of the week we made a village of haunted houses!
