At Magical Minds Studio on Monday, January 16th
Clementine Hunter was an acclaimed self-taught Black artist from the 20th century. In examining her works, students will gain a deeper understanding of the elements of line, shape and color as well as the significance of art in the context of the artist’s experience and place within history. Drawing inspiration from her work, we will construct fun, tactile, 3D paintings representing the events of our own daily lives.
Drop off between 8am and 9am. Wear clothes that can get dirty and comfortable shoes. Bring a water bottle and a nut-free lunch and snack.
