An event every day that begins at 8:00 am, repeating until July 16, 2021
Dream catchers can be traced back to the Ojibwe people who then influenced other tribes, cultures and even nations to value the catcher of dreams. We’ll learn about the purpose and dreams that these beautiful objects capture. In addition, we’ll explore the different sounds that can be made with drums, then make our own. Each student will craft their very own dream catcher using semi precious beads, yarn, ribbon and feathers. In the mornings we will sit in a circle outside playing our drums before returning to our dream catchers.
Campers should wear clothes that can get dirty and comfortable shoes. Please send a water bottle labeled with your child’s name.
No food with nuts, please.
