An event every week that begins at 10:00 am on Wednesday, repeating until June 3, 2020
**Our classes are taught via Zoom. Once you have signed up, we will email you the meeting information and password.**
This 5 week course will guide you through the basics of weaving. We will go from making our own loom to ‘dressing’ (preparing) it, weaving, taking our piece off the loom and hanging it!
Skills you’ll learn include:
- Making a loom
- Weaving
- Decorating woven art
Materials needed (not supplied by Magical Minds):
- 10” by 12” cardboard piece plus two strips for top and bottom
- Exacto knife or scissors
- Ruler
- Yarn (different colors/sizes/textures are ok and welcome!)
- Plastic needle
- Masking tape/Scotch tape
- Twigs or popsicle sticks
- Pencil
Dates, times and price:
- Wednesdays, May 6-June 3, 10-10:30pm
- $32 for all 5 sessions
