Blast off!

March 4, 2015 • Passport To Preschool

Last week saw us shooting to the stars and cavorting in outer space with rocket ships and celestial bodies!

We did not stop at making our own planets, we became them, and orbited each other. Not only that, we made mobiles of the solar system which were so terrific we could hardly bear look at them!

We studied our moon book and were inspired to create our own paper mache moons with beautiful, cratered, colorful surfaces.

Tricky as it is to choose a highlight from such an exciting week, I think it has to be when we launched our rocket ship into the farthest reaches of the studio, high above all of our heads.

Who assisted in all of this intergalactic travel? Ms Betty was fortunate enough to have four helpers last week: Olivia, Loie, Quinn and Ella – thank you!

Last week we studied the letter R and the numbers 28, 29, 30 and 31.
