And We’re Off!

September 20, 2015 • Passport To Preschool

Off to shape the world!  We are learning all about shapes and along the way were introduced to a an artist named, Paul Klee.  As the story goes, the man knew a lot about squares and rectangles, so much that he made art work from their form!  Well, so did we and what a delight we had making them.  It really is hip to be square!

After making shapes with paint and tape, Ms. Betty thought we’d be interested in making a few geoboards.  We worked with a hammer (with helping hands) and made our very own boards to use with rubber bands at future math centers.  The Studio is one place where we put everything to use, most importantly, our minds!!
