Changing Images and Counting

October 12, 2018 • Passport To Preschool

The weather is changing, the leaves are changing, and in Passport 2 Preschool, images are changing!

Our new word this week was thaumatrope. It’s the word for the type of image made by quickly flipping back and forth between two separate images so fast that they look like one picture.  We had fun thinking of images to draw and morph together.  We also worked on one of our favorite things, counting!  Having so much enthusiasm with counting we decided to start grouping, you should hear us count in 5’s.

We always make time for painting, and enjoyed pulling out our texture plates so we could make new patterns to explore.  Let’s not forget a quick game of soccer in the yard before dismissal!

We also couldn’t skip over the image of when the magnetiles became phones so that the Sticker Store owner could call her latest customer!
