Sometimes rocky, sometimes gaseous, always orbiting- this week we talked planets!
Exploring the planets and selecting one as our focus was the mission. Some liked the cool colors of the ice giants, some the warm colors of the hottest planets. But all agreeing that planet earth was the best choice for humans.
We even looked beyond planets, talking about the sun- our star, the Milky Way- our galaxy, and extra terrestrials- our neighbors! Students made up stories about extra terrestrials visiting our planet on Halloween, it was a hoot to listen to their tales.
