What We Can See

December 7, 2018 • Passport To Preschool

Now that that we know about our sense of sight, this week, we tried to see things differently in Passport 2 Preschool.

We started out making crayon rubbings of different textures, and then painted over them with watercolors. Even though the paint was on top of the crayon, the water didn’t stick to the wax, and the crayon showed through.

We looked at the world through translucent colored magnetiles, and noticed the difference in how we can see our friends when they are running fast and when they are standing still. And we rethought how we make paintings, putting paint on different objects, and seeing what our prints looked like!
