Patterns were the theme of Passport 2 Preschool this week! We found them in Picasso’s Three Musicians, looking at how repeating shapes make cubist art. We made our own abstract patterns, repeating shapes and colors, to make camouflage animals. We even got to see these patterns in real life on a pet lizard! At the end of the week patterns took a three dimensional form, as we tied ribbons onto sticks, finding repetition in the colors.
